Building Buzz for Indy’s Hottest Coffee Shop, Bovaconti Coffee
THE OPPORTUNITY
With the opening of a second Indianapolis coffee concept on the horizon, the Bovaconti team wanted a partner that could help them tell their story in an authentic way that would drive awareness and form a strong customer base for their opening.
They were seeking a strategic partner that could create and execute a deliberate and effective PR strategy to generate anticipation, awareness, and excitement for Bovaconti Coffee before the doors even opened, and help him sustain that excitement long after opening week.
THE STRATEGY & RESULTS
Social Media
Knowing that to open with a bang, Bovaconti Coffee needed to begin connecting with future customers before they launched, Whirlaway Marketing developed a social media strategy to generate curiosity, connection and engagement with Indy coffee lovers.
The team developed a library of assets, brand messaging, and a social media framework that helped tell the coffee shop’s unique story and established it as Indy’s hottest destination.
In less than 3 months Whirlaway Marketing grew the Bovaconti Coffee Instagram account to more than 2,300 followers and achieved more than 139,719 organic impressions for the budding business.
PR Strategy
Prior to the Bovaconti opening, Whirlaway Marketing developed a press kit for Bovaconti Coffee that would help tell a deeper story, beyond being the new coffee shop in town. The press kit included newsworthy media angles, high-res imagery, and a press release about the shop opening.
In the weeks leading up to the shop opening, Whirlaway Marketing distributed the press kit to relevant partners and outlets and secured sneak peek interviews with top tier media and influences. The efforts resulted in 6 traditional media stories with both local and national press and 14 million+ media impressions.
